payday wishlist (10)

It's that time when payday is coming around and I put together a wishlist of things I will probably not buy! But I enjoy putting making these with hope that my bank balance will buy me all the things I add. Here's hoping as I absolutely have been craving these items most recently. Although I am saving money still for various things so I can't go too cray. But here's what I have chosen...
payday wishlist (10)
1. Charlotte Tilbury Date Night Duo Lipsticks, £42.00 - If you're signed up to the Charlotte Tilbury newsletter you will get told about new products and this one was one. I am in love as I always am with Tilbury lipsticks, especially these shades. I think 'Between The Sheets' looks the perfect nude pink. Would be perfect for Spring!
2. Topshop Striped Body, £18.00 - I once owned one of these body tops and it was the most uncomfortable thing ever but when I was in Topshop a couple of weeks ago, I did try this one on and it was perfect. I can't decide if I like it in the blue or the black, let me know which you prefer best.
3. Topshop Rip Mom Jeans, £42.00 - Gosh I don't know how long I have wanted a pair of mom jeans for, let's just say in F O R E V E R. I always debate with myself whether to buy a pair or not as I don't think they would suit me but I would love them for this Summer to wear with my white converse. I'll keep you updated.
4. Roberts RD60 Digital Radio In White, £151.00 - I have had my current DAB/FM radio for years and it is pretty much taking up so much room on my bookcase so I am currently looking for a cute small radio and Roberts Radio's have always been on my mind. I love how retro they are and they work really well. All I want to do is listen to the radio everyday without the signal running away from me every time I walk in front of it.
5. ASOS Cat Eye Sunglasses, £12.00 - I am the fussiest person when it comes to sunglasses. I think I own about 7 pairs and now I dislike them all. I have never owned cat eye sunglasses before and I know ASOS are the place to get a decent pair for a good price. These are great if you're having that bad eyebrow day and just want to cover them up, they sound perfect already right?
6. The Body Shop British Rose Gift Set, £40.00 - The excitement when The Body Shop release new products makes me happy. I am very much in love with this collection. I had a sneaky smell of a few of the products when I popped into my local store and they are really nice. I am tempted to try their Instant Glow Body Essence seeing as my skin needs that glow desperately.
7. Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne, £42.00 - Anything that says Peony, I know will be good. Peony scent is my favourite and I just know Jo Malone will pull it off. I haven't yet lost my Malone virginity but now I have found this scent I will be popping to a counter.
8. River Island Triangle Bra, £16.00  - How gorgeous is this bra? High street are killing it really well with Lingerie recently. I have a few triangle bra's from Topshop and I love them. I used to wear wired bras and they really started to hurt me so I changed to triangle bras. This one is an online exclusive only which is a shame as I always want to try a bra on before buying it.

lush haul (7)

I slipped and fell into Lush yet again, but this time they finally had brand new additions in for this Spring/Easter. I don't know if it is just me but I love their Spring collection every year. The bright colours and beautiful scents just make me spend so much money that it makes my bank balance cry. But if you saw these products, you wouldn't just not leave without them.

Flowering Tea Reusable Bubble Bar / £4.95 - How sweet is this tea bag bubble bar. This is part of the Mother's Day range and I could see why, who's mother doesn't love a cup of tea? The special part about this is that you can reuse it and that makes me happy. Also, when you run it under your tap not only does it create bubbles but fragrant, flower petals fall into your bath which create a smell to help you relax. I really can't wait to see how this will look.

Ladybird Bubble Bar / £3.95 - Now this is well cute, a ladybird. I loved the look of this and the smell well, it really is amazing. It reminds me very much of The Comforter by the smell, very sweet. You can also keep using this one as you can break it up easily and use it again.

Bunch Of Carrots / £6.25 - I remember seeing these last year but the price had always put me off as I thought it was too pricey. But I gave in to the gorgeous smell and how they looked really wanted me to see what they would do. Again, you can reuse these which I like. I'm not really sure if they are a bubble bar as it wasn't stated in store or online but they look too cute for Easter.

Have you bought anything from the Easter range?

appleyard london flowers

As you may have noticed I love to add flowers behind my blog photos as does any Blogger I would have thought. So when I received an email from a luxury flower delivery company called Appleyard London, I was very happy. I was excited to hear that they wanted to send me a bouquet of flowers from their Mothers Day Range and I decided to choose *Peach Blossom* which includes stunning Mozart calla lilies, Miss Piggy roses, pink carnations with berries and alstroemeria. I chose this bouquet because I absolutely love lilies and alstroemeria's last for months. The flowers were presented so well in a big box and then a small solid container to keep the flowers fresh whilst they are travelling to your front door.

I had never used a flower delivery service before and after receiving these, I wouldn't mind doing it again. If a loved one lives far away from you there is no excuse not to buy them flowers and this service offers that. Or if you love to have a bouquet of flowers in your house then Appleyard London Flowers are the place to go.

Please read below for a discount code

I do have a special gift for my lovely readers, a discount code that offers you to get 33% off one of their luxury bouquets, this excludes the Flowers By Post Range by using the code BLOG33. Remember you can either use the code for yourself, for a loved one or you can give someone the code that loves to receive flowers. They do have Next Day Flowers which sounds superb.

my first kiko cosmetics haul

Finding new beauty brands makes me happy even finding affordable brands like KIKO. I was so happy to find out that a new store had opened in Birmingham, I was soon enough on my way to the shop on a Saturday. When I walked in there were just rows and rows of make-up. I didn't know where to start, but I went straight to where the lip products were and then I was instantly hooked.

Starting with lip pencils I picked up one of their Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Pencils in 'Warm Rose - 302. I wish I'd picked more of these up because they were in the sale for £2.90 each! I did spend a long time trying to choose which colour to get and this shade really stood out for me as I love a nice nudey pink colour. I wore it out on Saturday night and it lasted ALL night.

Right next to the lip products was Nail Polishes and I was memorised by the colour coordination, everything looked so pretty. I picked up 'Apple Red -  240' which is a gorgeous dark red. I love my red polishes and I tend to run out of them because it is the one colour I love to wear on my nails. £2.50 from £3.90 is a bargain, will be going back to buy more.

After a little browse of the other products I went straight to base products and thought I would look at their Concealers. I went straight for the Dark Circle Concealer as I am suffering terribly with dark circles under my eyes. I tried it out and it really does cover up well, I was impressed. The one down side is that it comes with a pump application and when I first pumped the formula out it went everywhere. I wish it just came without it. But it does work well.
Next I looked at their Eyeliners so I picked up their precision liquid eyeliner. This is a great eyeliner and it applies so easily and can do a lovely cat eye which I love to do.

I do apologise that you can't see the beauty of this eyeshadow in the photo. But I picked up one of their Colour Sphere Eyeshadows in 'Golden White Multicolour - 29'. This eyeshadow is gorgeous. It is so easy to blend with any other colour you're adding to your eyes. It is very glittery but you can't really see that once it's applied to your eyes. I really want to buy more of these as their were others that really caught my eye.
Lastly I went to the skincare section. I sadly couldn't find this online but you can buy it in store. I loved the look of these Purifying Pads. They already have toner and cleanser in one so you only need to swipe one of these all over your face and your skin care is done. The girl in the shop said this is great if you do get blemishes and redness. There are 66 pads inside which will probably last you for ages. I cannot wait to give them a try.

I'd recommend taking a look at KIKO online or in store if you can because they are high quality and affordable. There are many products that I still want to try out and I will probably be heading back there again soon enough. I have loved delving into the world of KIKO Milano Cosmetics!

5 things to bake - spring

I am getting far too excited about Spring. I have loved baking my whole life, from that day when I was 6 years old and I got a Barbie baking kit, I was instantly hooked. I especially loved doing cooking classes at school as I would make so much food and then take it home to munch on with the family. I stepped away from it for a while until The Great British Bake Off hit our TV screens here in the UK and it reminded me how much I missed baking.
Since I have been pinning on Pinterest I have came across so many great recipes and these are just the few that I would love to bake this Spring.
Garden Carrot Cup Cakes: How cute are these! I am definitely going to be making these. They just look like you're pulling a carrot out of the ground but in sponge chocolate. And the strawberries look like cute as carrots, this will be so easy to do.
White Easter Egg Cup Cakes: I'm sure you have to add Cadbury's Easter Eggs to a baking recipe for Spring it would be wrong not to. These look so cute! The chocolate shavings look just like a birds nest. I love the idea of using white chocolate, I will definitely be baking these and will keep you updated!
Creme Egg Fudge: Oh my, I do love fudge and these look incredible. I have never actually made fudge before so this recipe could be a lot of fun. If you don't like creme egg I'm sure there's something else you could put in the fudge.
Easter Egg Cookies: You can't beat cookies and they are so dead easy to bake. I love these designs, I probably won't do them exactly the same as I am terrible at doing designs on cakes/biscuits but I'll try my best.
Lemon & Elderflower Drizzle Cake: If I was to make this and it would be perfect, I'd pat myself on the back. This looks AMAZING! I love Lemon drizzle cake but with Elderflower, it will probably taste a lot better. I love the decoration and how it looks. Will be tough to bake but I really want to give it a try.

february glossy box 2016

I came home on Sunday evening to my February Glossy Box and I'm excited to share with you what I got. Just to clarify, the small chocolate hearts were not included in the box...soz.
The products are listed below!

- Mua Power Pout Glaze Voltage Gloss / A brand I have heard of! I love Mua products already as they are so affordable and are really good. I've never been a fan of lip gloss but I'll give this one a go. I will keep you updated about this one.

- The Vintage Cosmetic Company Tweezers / How cute are these tweezers? I had seen these in Boots a couple of times but never thought to buy them, but here they are in my Glossy Box. I can't wait to try them out on my eyebrows one day.

- Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk Razor / I am always on the look out for a good razor and apparently this one is suppose to be the best out there at the moment. I'm really excited to try it out. It's a bit pricey but Boots always have it on offer so have a look out if you're interested.

- Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner / When a beauty product says 24 hours I am always interested to see if they will last that amount of time. I had never heard of this brand before so I also can't wait to see how good this will be.

- Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner / Another hair mask I'm excited to try. I used one from the last Glossy Box and it was really good so I can't wait to see how this one will do. My hair always needs a good conditioner.

my week in snapshots (2)

Wow at how fast last week went! I had a lovely week off from work down in Devon but it went too fast. I woke up this morning missing the sound of the rough waves and the seagulls sounds. But here I am today to recap what I did in that week.

1. Before driving off to Devon, we had to stop off for a Costa as I was in desperate need of a large coffee. This sure did wake me up for the 3 hour journey ahead of us.

2. Whilst I was at Costa I also noticed the Krispy Kreme stands that WH Smith have in the service stations...I of course picked up about 3 of their glorious doughnuts. My favourite is cookie crunch. So I laid on the comfortable sofa in the living room and ate the entire one.

3. We went back to our favourite fish restaurant in Dartmouth one of the days called Rockfish. We love this restaurant, they do the best fish. I love seafood and I always try something new. You get free water and as many chips as you like. As much as I love the fish, they do the best pink lemonade.

4. As we were travelling to Plymouth we decided to have our date day/night which was food, bowling and cinema. Never in that order but we found one place that had it all there for us so. We went to Pizza Express first which was our first one! I had the biggest pizza because I am a huge pizza lover and I was very pleased with it.

5. Part of the date day/night we then went tenpin bowling. The bowling alley was so retro with arcade games and they even had slush puppies. I of course lost...twice. Bummer.

6. For the cinema it didn't take us long to decide what to go and see. DEADPOOL. I have been waiting for this movie for MONTHS. Firstly: Ryan Reynolds is smoking hot and Secondly: Deadpool is awesome. It was really good, totally recommend if you're into Marvel movies or just fancy the pants of Ryan Reynolds.

7. One of the days we were in Devon we actually had the nicest weather. There's a cute area in the house where you can just chill out next to this big window and look at the sea. I think I spent many days in that chair as it was so peaceful to stare out.

8. Lastly is just common Instagram picture of your shoes and the sea...oh just me then? It again was a gorgeous day that I was able to take outfit pictures which you can see a full post on here

valentines day make-up

Valentines Day is tomorrow and I thought that I would share with you what I would be wearing if me and my boyfriend did have plans tomorrow but sadly we don't as he goes back to university. So today being Valentines Day Eve we have decided to celebrate it early. We opened our cards and presents in the morning. Sean got me a lovely bunch of flowers, I can't wait to put them in my bedroom back home. He also got me a lovely rose gold bow ring from Pandora which I have been wearing all day.
I have decided to share what I did wear yesterday night when we went out for our "valentines meal". I obviously went for a red lip and I know that is the most typical colour to wear but I find a red lip so classy and flirty. I didn't really do much on my eyes, just black eye liner and some mascara, my everyday look. Full details below of the products I used!

rosie for autograph lipsticks

I had seen this collection from Marks & Spencer floating around the internet for a while and I kept telling myself that I would at least buy one of the products from Rosie's Autograph range, so I did. I'm more of a lipstick girl than any other beauty item so I bought two out of the collection. The first one being "Rose Lace" and the second in "Silk Rose".

£14 Each
These lipsticks are literally stunning, reminds me a lot of the Charlotte Tilbury range with the rose gold packaging. They have metal magnetic closure which has just automatically made it so much more classy. All the lipsticks are beautifully creamy textured and finish, highly pigmented and gorgeous assortment of neutral shades and some brights. I personally love the nudes, I was tempted to go for "Super Model Kiss" which is a bright red but I fell in love with the nudes straight away, so maybe next time.

torcross beach

This morning me and my boyfriend woke up to a beautiful sunny day. We decided to have a nice walk along Torcross Beach which is outside where we are currently staying. I also decided to take advantage of the lovely sunshine by taking some outfit shots. I am loving this leopard print blouse that I recently got from Primark. It has a lovely high collar which is my favourite feature as It gives that 60s vibe look where the blouses were always high neck. These jeggings have been in my life for nearly 2-3 years now. They are so comfortable and go perfectly well with ankle boots. Today is a chill out day as we've been out in the car loads and it's such a nice day for some time at the beach.

dartmouth

As I am currently in Devon, I had decided to do an outfit of the day post. Although my outfit was casual, I still wanted to do a post like this. As it is so windy and cold here in Devon, I have been wearing my snug as a pug beanie from Primark and my cosy long tartan scarf also from Primark. Today me and my boyfriend visited Dartmouth which isn't so far from where we are in Torcross. They have a few small shops and a lovely fish restaurant which is one of the many places we love. You can see the full photos of my outfit below.

world cancer day

Today is #worldcancerday and I thought I would share a personal story about my amazing mum. At the start of 2014 my mum found out that she had breast cancer from going to a regular screening. It changed our family immediately. I would never of thought of my mum having cancer as she is fit and healthy, so It took me a while to come to terms with it. She had a mastectomy on her left breast which had the cancer and on the day of that operation I just prayed it would all be over. In October she had her chemotherapy which was horrible to witness, seeing my mum lose her confidence everyday, she just wasn't herself. Until it was the last day of the chemo and it was like she was back to herself again. Soon after in late November, my older brother decided to take himself, me, my mum and my dad to America. Not just to one location but to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco for a week. Me and my brother planned to get my mum and dad to renew their wedding vows in an old Las Vegas wedding chapel and it was perfect.
As of today my mum is clear of cancer and I am so so thankful for all the hard work Cancer Research did to help her. I took part in a Race For Life last year and raise quite a bit of money and I will hopefully be doing another one this year.
So today in aid of World Cancer Day, I am wearing my unity band from Cancer Research UK. £2 goes towards the charity to help more people in the world who are suffering from this horrible disease. You can order a band here. Today is the day to unite and support.
