autumn lippie's

Now that Autumn is finally here I can dig out the dark and nude lipsticks. These are ones that I will probably wear all through A/W along with dark clothing of course. I once thought that I did not suit vampy lips but recently I have been loving wearing them as they make your make-up look so amazing. Starting with a new collection from Kate Moss which is the nude collection. I really like this colour as it has a pink tone to it and is perfect if I don't want to go vampy. For that vampy look I go for Topshops Beguiled. It's a deep cherry plum shade in the bullet and a dark cherry colour on the lips. Next is one from MAC called Captive and shamefully I have lost the lid for it (face palm). I wear this one quite a lot as it gives such a matte finish. This is an everyday lippie for me. It's subtle but takes my look from a regular day to a night out. Another Kate Moss lip stick is another favourite of mine in the number 19. This is more a of a dark red shade which I wear on a night out mostly. Lastly is one by Boots Seventeen collection in the shade Hot Chilli. The shade itself is a red with a hint of orange, this is the only red lipstick that suits my skin tone. It slides onto my lips so smoothly, and is moisturising enough to not cling on to pesky dry bits.

visiting the whitmore tea room - three mile lane

I was recently in Stoke with Sean and he had told me about this cute tea room that is named from my surname which is Whitmore. I was pretty looking forward to travelling to this tea room. I had been to many tea rooms before but this one was special to me and it had everything that I love. When we arrived we saw the cute cottage like cafe, I of course liked the look of it. I just wanted to get inside. When we walked in the rooms were so bright and pastel was everywhere. The tables were laid out so perfectly that I really didn't want to ruin any of it. The tea cups just reminded me of Alice In Wonderland straight away and the cup that the milk was in reminded me of something from Beauty & The Beast, I felt like I was in tea heaven. We arrived at around 11am so we planned to have breakfast but the lunch menu caught my eye more. I had prawns in cocktail sauce finger sandwiches along with a pot of english breakfast tea. After me and Sean had our sandwiches we eyed up the cakes at the back of the cafe which were all laid out with labels on to tell us which are which. I of course the coffee queen had to have a slice of the coffee cake, whilst Sean had a white chocolate and vanilla slice. They sure give you a big piece which you can't complain about as it's what you expect when you get a slice of cake.Overall it's a cute little tea room and if you are planning on going with friends or family you can book a table which is something I would do next time.

20 random facts about me

I have been wanting to do a personal post for a while now but just never knew what to talk about. But then I thought not many of my readers probably know me very well so I have decided to put together 20 random facts about myself. If you've done one of these yourself, comment a link below in the comments for me to check out as I love reading these sort of posts. It took me a while to come up with 20 facts but here's what I came up with...
1. I have never broken a bone in my body.
2. I love some good 80's music classics. I will listen to 80's music all day every day, it's just the best!
3. The nicest celebrity I have ever met is Gok Wan. He is truly my favourite person.
4. I love a good Mojito on a night out, if there are no Mojito's I will just have a boring vodka and coke.
5. Spiders terrify me, if I will one even if it's small I will just vacuum it up or if it's big then I will just run away and scream. My fear of them gets worse every time.
6. I really don't like sweets/candy. The smell of any sweet makes me want to vom. But I do love cakes, chocolate and doughnuts.
7. I love all Disney movies but my two favourites are Beauty & The Beast mainly because I love Belle so much and Peter Pan because I have always had a weird crush on Peter.
8. My nickname as a child was "Little Chinese Girl". It all started from my mothers mum who thought I looked like a Chinese child because my eyes were so dark but they didn't go to my hazel eye colour until I was 5 years old.
9. Ryan Reynolds is a total dreamboat and my biggest "celebrity crush" if I had to choose one.
10. When I go to the cinema I have to have nachos and a mixed tango blast. I don't like popcorn so much.
11. I have kept nearly every cinema ticket from the first time I went to the cinema and to now. I don't know why I have but it's become a big habit.
12. I love TV shows. For example I love Friends, Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Suits and The Walking Dead.
13. Speaking of TV shows I know almost every Friends episode word for word. Even my boyfriend find it annoying at times.
14. I have one tattoo above my left ankle of a moon, I got it when I was 18. I'm currently wanting to get another tattoo but I am unsure what to get yet.
15. I really want to own a pug one day.
16. I can never just sit inside all day I love to adventure out to different places. Some day I would love to travel around to places like France, Rome and America. Many more of course.
17. I used to believe in fairies when I was younger.
18. As much as I love Disney I have never had the chance to go to Disney Land/World.
19. I am rubbish at anything sporty. In primary school I love netball and hockey but now I just hate sport activities.
20. I can't drive. I have had lessons but haven't passed yet.

why i love autumn

The weather has took it's turn and it's suddenly starting to feel like Autumn. Starbucks have always been selling their new Autumn themed coffee cups which I just makes me 100% happy. I have always been a cold weather type of person, so I have always been into A/W. Recently I have been putting together my Autumn wardrobe and make-up and here I am today to tell you why I love this season so much.

I love...Vampy Lips!

This season is the perfect time to crack out those lipsticks, although some girls tend to wear dark lipsticks all year around, I just think that A/W is the right time to start looking badass rockin' a deep berry lip. I have already been wearing my dark lipsticks and the compliments that I get make me so happy. I rarely get compliments when I wear coral lipsticks in the Summer because I think they're not so appealing. I have been wearing MAC's "Plumful", Rimmel's 107 and Topshops "Beguild". And you also have to take care of those dry lips especially in the cold seasons so I always have my trusty lip balms around, I especially love this one that I picked up from H&M sometime last year which smells like Vanilla and Apples.

I love...Bronze Shadows!

I have been loving blending in different colours on my eye lids recently. Going for a pink and a brown makes your eyelids look Autumn straight away! Putting just that bit of bronze underneath your water line makes your eyes pop out even when you aren't wearing that berry lip which I tend to do anyway. It always looks classy when you put that big scarf on.

I love...Layers!

Big jumpers, big scarves and coats put me in my happy place. I think I spend most of my time shopping for that perfect big jumper and looking for that perfect coat especially on ASOS as they always have the best deals. I recently wrapped my big scarf around me as It was so cold outside and I was such a happy girl. Why do scarves make me so happy?

I love...Accessories & Footwear!

Ah, how I love Autumn accessories, for example jewellery and shoes! Rose gold jewellery is perfect for Autumn especially when you have that dark red nail polish on those nails it just completes a boring outfit, especially if your wearing a jumper and leggings. Boots are finally back and I have been loving wearing my new Select ankle boots with a pair of tights. They are the most easiest shoes to style, although I will probably still wear my white converse now and then.

I love...Coffee, Coffee & More Coffee!

Coffee is just my obsession. I do love Summer as you can have iced coffee which is my favourite thing but there's something special about just wrapping yourself up in your fluffy blanket and drinking a nice hot cup of coffee on a cold evening. Nothing can really beat that.

Do you also love Autumn or are you sad that Summer has gone?

mini lush haul (3)

Lush posts always get me excited and I do love writing them, so here I am today with a mini haul that I bought a few days ago. This may be a short post and I do apologise because I didn't go on one of my big Lush splurges like I normally do but I am excited about these two products.

Yuzu And Cocoa -Bubbleroon : I had seen these Bubbleroons in Lush before but they just never interested me until my visit to Lush. It caught my eye as it is shaped as a macaroon and I love macaroons, obviously! Also the smell won me over. The chocolate orange smell is heavenly, I really cannot wait to see what this does in the bath. I really do want to try the other Bubbleroons, so let me know if you have tried any of them.

Milky Bath - Bubble Bar : How sweet is this bubble bar? I didn't just buy this because it's cute (that's one of the reasons actually) but I bought it because I cannot wait to see what this does in my bath. It smells like baby powder which is sweet. I have been told that it's the only bubble bar that actually creates a lot of bubbles, if this is true then I will be surprised.

payday wishlist (5)

payday wishlist (5)
From L-R
Floral Print Top - TU Sainsburys // High Neck Floral Dress - TU Sainsburys // Deer Print Top - TU Sainsburys // Lace Up Flats - Topshop // NO7 Airbrush Foundation - Boots // Liz Earle Serum - Boots // Barry M Sunset Nail Polish - Boots // Snow White Print PJs - Topshop

I was recently in Sainsburys just doing a bit of shopping and I came across their TU clothing range, so I had a little nose around. I found 3 items that I really liked so I decided to add them in this months paylist wishlist. The first item I remember spotting was this high neck floral dress which I really do like. I have a dress in this style already and I enjoy styling it with tights and ankle boots. But I especially love the floral print on this as it is perfect for A/W. Soon after I spotted this deer print top which is right up my street as it is so so cute! Shoe wise I have been eyeing up these leopard print lace up flats from Topshop. I did actually try them on and I adored them but now I just want them in my shoe collection. Of course I had to add some make-up and skincare. Starting with a new foundation from Boots NO7 collection which is called "Airbrush Away". I have heard many good things about this foundation so I cannot wait to try it. Next is something a little pricey but Liz Earle has always been a big hit for me. I have only ever used one serum before adding my moisturiser and it worked great on making my skin look amazing. That was until my aunt who is a big Liz Earle lover told me about this serum and now I just want to give it a try. Barry M have a new collection out called "Sunset" which gives your nails a nice glossy finish. Finishing off with something that I am most likely going to buy which is a Snow White PJ Tee. I love my Disney PJs so this would be fab in my collection.

urban decay make-up setting spray travel size

I've never really used a setting spray before as my make-up doesn't really melt but when I saw this product on Feel Unique.com and saw "oil control", I was intrigued. I decided to buy the travel size instead of the original size as I wanted to trial the product. I didn't really go with what it says on the box which states "spray it like an X then a T shape" instead I found that spraying after I put moisturiser and make-up on, using the X shape worked out a lot better. This product impressed me! Didn't need to touch up during the day but was a tad oily at the end.
This sprays out a fine mist but it does take a while to dry. Once it's dried, you won't be able to feel it; it is really lightweight. There are no breakouts, no scent and irritation. If you spray this over a matte look, your make-up will not have the cakey look anymore. I did read somewhere that if you spray it on a brush first then sweeping it over the face before and after make-up is the best method. I will have to test that out. I would most definitely repurchase this in the full size product.

Have you tried this product or any other setting sprays?

why i love loyalty cards

I'm a huge loyalty card hoarder. I think I pretty much have one for everything and I don't know why I didn't do this ages ago because most of them are seriously worth it. I especially love the Boots and Superdrug cards as when I realise I have no money to buy any make-up, I'll go into Boots/Superdrug and notice that I have some money on the cards to use! I also love Bodyshops card as you get points for every time you shop in store or online and you get vouchers like £10 off to spend. You do get emails for event invites and special offers that are in store. And when it's your birthday you get a free gift worth £5 from them for being a member! Recently I joined Monsoon's reward card which was recommended to me by my auntie who is obsessed with Monsoon/Accessorize. When a new season starts, they turn your points into reward vouchers which are automatically added to your card. I especially love this because If I don't have enough money for an item then I will have some on my card. They also start you off with a 10% off voucher when you join to spend in store or online.
Onto food cards, now I have become pretty obsessed with these cards. Firstly supermarket cards which are such a big help if you are doing a food shop for yourself or just picking up a few random bits. Morrisons Match & More card is really handy if you want vouchers and be the first to know about offers in store. I will obviously like this loyalty card as I do work for Morrisons, but I do think it's one to have! Nectar card has become a recent one and I pretty much got this one because a friend told me that she changes the points she earns into free cinema tickets. Also you don't just have to use a Nectar card in Sainsburys but you can use it in Debenhams, House Of Fraser and Next. So if you buy any clothes from your favourite high street store you still get points. Tesco's Clubcard is a card I have had for a long time but have recently only started using it. They are good for vouchers again to spend on your shopping, recently they are changing your £5 vouchers into £10 vouchers which is pretty good.
Now if you are a coffee addict like myself then you would need a Costa card. With every £1 you spend they reward you with 5 points which each point is worth a penny. I always end up getting a free creamy latte or a mouth-watering muffin to enjoy. I have also recently joined Subways aswell but I haven't used it just yet.

Are you joined to any loyalty cards?

seche vite dry fast top coat

I had been wanting to give this a try for so long but always put myself off from buying it and I don't know why. But when I was making an order on Feel Unique.com I came across it on those "we suggest" pages and I just clicked into my basket now. I have tried it for a couple of times now and I got to say that I can see what the hype is all about. As instructed I applied one thick coat over my coloured polish and was astounded by the high shine finish on my nails. I couldn't stop staring at them! Once they were fully dry which didn't take so long at all, the surface of the nail feels incredibly smooth. I was excited to see how they would look the second day as they do tend to chip easily by then, but again incredibly they never did for about 3-4 days. I am very impressed with this purchase and have recommended it to friends who loves their nails as much as I do. It's perfect for when I am at work when I want my nails looking really nice. I will be sad when I run out of this but then I will most likely just order it again!

Have you tried this yourself?
