Finding new beauty brands makes me happy even finding affordable brands like KIKO. I was so happy to find out that a new store had opened in Birmingham, I was soon enough on my way to the shop on a Saturday. When I walked in there were just rows and rows of make-up. I didn't know where to start, but I went straight to where the lip products were and then I was instantly hooked.
Starting with lip pencils I picked up one of their Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Pencils in 'Warm Rose - 302. I wish I'd picked more of these up because they were in the sale for £2.90 each! I did spend a long time trying to choose which colour to get and this shade really stood out for me as I love a nice nudey pink colour. I wore it out on Saturday night and it lasted ALL night.
Right next to the lip products was Nail Polishes and I was memorised by the colour coordination, everything looked so pretty. I picked up 'Apple Red - 240' which is a gorgeous dark red. I love my red polishes and I tend to run out of them because it is the one colour I love to wear on my nails. £2.50 from £3.90 is a bargain, will be going back to buy more.
After a little browse of the other products I went straight to base products and thought I would look at their Concealers. I went straight for the Dark Circle Concealer as I am suffering terribly with dark circles under my eyes. I tried it out and it really does cover up well, I was impressed. The one down side is that it comes with a pump application and when I first pumped the formula out it went everywhere. I wish it just came without it. But it does work well.
Next I looked at their Eyeliners so I picked up their precision liquid eyeliner. This is a great eyeliner and it applies so easily and can do a lovely cat eye which I love to do.
I do apologise that you can't see the beauty of this eyeshadow in the photo. But I picked up one of their Colour Sphere Eyeshadows in 'Golden White Multicolour - 29'. This eyeshadow is gorgeous. It is so easy to blend with any other colour you're adding to your eyes. It is very glittery but you can't really see that once it's applied to your eyes. I really want to buy more of these as their were others that really caught my eye.
Lastly I went to the skincare section. I sadly couldn't find this online but you can buy it in store. I loved the look of these Purifying Pads. They already have toner and cleanser in one so you only need to swipe one of these all over your face and your skin care is done. The girl in the shop said this is great if you do get blemishes and redness. There are 66 pads inside which will probably last you for ages. I cannot wait to give them a try.
I'd recommend taking a look at KIKO online or in store if you can because they are high quality and affordable. There are many products that I still want to try out and I will probably be heading back there again soon enough. I have loved delving into the world of KIKO Milano Cosmetics!

I came home on Sunday evening to my February Glossy Box and I'm excited to share with you what I got. Just to clarify, the small chocolate hearts were not included in the box...soz.
The products are listed below!
- Mua Power Pout Glaze Voltage Gloss / A brand I have heard of! I love Mua products already as they are so affordable and are really good. I've never been a fan of lip gloss but I'll give this one a go. I will keep you updated about this one.
- The Vintage Cosmetic Company Tweezers / How cute are these tweezers? I had seen these in Boots a couple of times but never thought to buy them, but here they are in my Glossy Box. I can't wait to try them out on my eyebrows one day.
- Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk Razor / I am always on the look out for a good razor and apparently this one is suppose to be the best out there at the moment. I'm really excited to try it out. It's a bit pricey but Boots always have it on offer so have a look out if you're interested.
- Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner / When a beauty product says 24 hours I am always interested to see if they will last that amount of time. I had never heard of this brand before so I also can't wait to see how good this will be.
- Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner / Another hair mask I'm excited to try. I used one from the last Glossy Box and it was really good so I can't wait to see how this one will do. My hair always needs a good conditioner.

I have decided to share what I did wear yesterday night when we went out for our "valentines meal". I obviously went for a red lip and I know that is the most typical colour to wear but I find a red lip so classy and flirty. I didn't really do much on my eyes, just black eye liner and some mascara, my everyday look. Full details below of the products I used!

I received this palette in the post this morning and I am so excited to show you all it. I won this beautiful palette on a twitter giveaway and was very delighted when I was told that I had won it. I had spent some time finding an affordable highlighter so I didn't have to spend £32 on Jaclyn Hill's shimmering highlighter in "Champagne Pop" which is being raved about so much at the moment. But here I am with an affordable one from Sleek Make-Up. One of the things that has made me love this palette so much is the fabulous gold packaging. Sleek are well known for their black packaging, so this beautiful gold most likely stands out amongst the other products. It has a decent mirror inside so it is great if you are travelling about and want to carry it with you. Look at those beautiful shades! (From L-R | Ecliptic, Hemisphere, Subsolar & Equinox.) I really can't fault the formula of the shades, every shade is super soft, beautifully pigmented and gives you an incredible glow. Although it does come with a brush I haven't yet used it because it isn't the best brush like most of the ones you do get in a palette.
Ecliptic - Is a cream highlighter so I will be applying this with my fingers to the top of my cheekbones, brow bone and the tip of my nose to give that lifted look.
Hemisphere - This is a beautiful pink shade, I will probably use this as an eyeshadow if I want to venture. But it will look gorgeous on any cheeks.
Subsolar - Now this shade I will probably not use very much as it is yellow. Yellow shades do not match my skin tone very well.
Equinox - When I first saw this colour I was a little worried that It wouldn't match my pale skin but it surprisingly is alright.
Overall I recommend this palette if you are looking for an affordable one with a lovely packaging!

I get far too excited when Benefit release a new product. In this months Elle Magazine, there is a fab little freebie from Benefit. It's they're real tinted primer which isn't available to buy for another 9 weeks. I wasn't aware that I needed to prime my lashes before applying my normal mascara but apparently you do. I had tried the they're real mascara before but I much prefer the roller lash mascara so it seemed to work out much better.
The primer is designed to go on before your normal mascara and it will do all the separating, lengthening and boosting work for you. The brush is a lovely thin one, which really grabs hold of the lashes and separates them really well. Once you pop on your normal mascara it looks fab. This primer certainly helps your lashes look amazing. If you don't fancy those long lashes, then the primer comes in a brown shade so it can be worn on it's own for a more natural look.
As I didn't know you needed a primer to use on your lashes, I was impressed with the they're real tinted primer. I didn't have to use my eyelash curlers as when I apply this it helps to grab those lashes really well and pull them up, giving them a bit of length as well as a curl. I'll definitely pick up the full size when it is released, will you?

So Autumn is officially here so I thought I would share with you the product's that I will be using other the next few month's. I always go for different shades this time of year. I think Autumn is a great time to play with those golden, darker shades. I still don't use a high coverage foundation as I like to show off those freckles. But I will still use concealer to cover up that redness.

As I said I like to go for a minimal coverage around this time of year. A newer foundation for me is Rimmel's Match Perfection Foundation, I love this foundation. I would normally use a primer aswell but I couldn't find it when this photo was taken. The finish is perfect and it's not cakey at all, it sit's nicely on my skin and gives me a flawless finish. This foundation does last all day long, I think I may have found a replacement from Revlon's Nearly Naked Foundation.
I am loving having those long lashes and along with my usual eyeliner look I have been using Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde mascara which makes my lashes so so long. The packaging is also so trendy.
I used to hate lipstick and now I am absolutely obsessed. I love Topshop's "Beguiled" lipstick which is a gorgeous dark vampy colour that I wouldn't normally go for. But along with my pale completion, it just works so well together. I'm always changing up my nail varnish but around Autumn I like to match my lipstick with my nails so I always go for those purple, berry, reds and browny shades. I am loving Essie's "Lace Is On" which is a glittery purple colour.
Eye shadow has got to be my favourite part of my Autumn make-up routine. I love berry, metallic and brown shades. I have been using W7 In The Nude Palette, I did a review on this which you can look at here. I tend to go for the more golden and brown in the day, then in the evening I'll go for a deeper berry toned eye.
I do love this time of year, I officially have all the knitted jumpers on along with my chunky scarfs. I hope you enjoyed this style post. Let me know what products you use for Autumn.

Today I want to talk about Freedom Make-Up's Pro Eyebrow Kit which is a complete bargain at £3.50. I am a little obsessed with filling in my eyebrows because I love my eyes to have a good shape and also you can't see my eyebrows because the hairs are quite light. I love nothing more than mixing the colours to achieve a unique colour. I always use the darkest brown and usually mix it with a bit of the medium brown shade. It all depends what mood I am in that morning when I do my brows. The kit I have is Medium - Dark and this is perfect for me. I try not to make them look like like I have filled in my brows, so I try and make them look as natural as possible.
For the price it is pretty good as you get 4 eyebrow shades, mini tweezers and application brushes making the kit perfect for travelling or carrying it around in your make-up bag. I use my own eyebrow brush to apply this but I have used the brush that comes with it and it is completely fine for application purposes. The pigmentation is really good and you don't have to spend ages trying to get the colour to transfer onto your brows.
I haven't had to touch up my brows at all during the day and that could be due to the fact that I set my brows with a clear gel but I don't think so. If you have tried out Sleek's eyebrow kit and loved it then you should check out this little beauty.

The weather has took it's turn and it's suddenly starting to feel like Autumn. Starbucks have always been selling their new Autumn themed coffee cups which I just makes me 100% happy. I have always been a cold weather type of person, so I have always been into A/W. Recently I have been putting together my Autumn wardrobe and make-up and here I am today to tell you why I love this season so much.
I love...Vampy Lips!
This season is the perfect time to crack out those lipsticks, although some girls tend to wear dark lipsticks all year around, I just think that A/W is the right time to start looking badass rockin' a deep berry lip. I have already been wearing my dark lipsticks and the compliments that I get make me so happy. I rarely get compliments when I wear coral lipsticks in the Summer because I think they're not so appealing. I have been wearing MAC's "Plumful", Rimmel's 107 and Topshops "Beguild". And you also have to take care of those dry lips especially in the cold seasons so I always have my trusty lip balms around, I especially love this one that I picked up from H&M sometime last year which smells like Vanilla and Apples.
I love...Bronze Shadows!
I have been loving blending in different colours on my eye lids recently. Going for a pink and a brown makes your eyelids look Autumn straight away! Putting just that bit of bronze underneath your water line makes your eyes pop out even when you aren't wearing that berry lip which I tend to do anyway. It always looks classy when you put that big scarf on.
I love...Layers!
Big jumpers, big scarves and coats put me in my happy place. I think I spend most of my time shopping for that perfect big jumper and looking for that perfect coat especially on ASOS as they always have the best deals. I recently wrapped my big scarf around me as It was so cold outside and I was such a happy girl. Why do scarves make me so happy?
I love...Accessories & Footwear!
Ah, how I love Autumn accessories, for example jewellery and shoes! Rose gold jewellery is perfect for Autumn especially when you have that dark red nail polish on those nails it just completes a boring outfit, especially if your wearing a jumper and leggings. Boots are finally back and I have been loving wearing my new Select ankle boots with a pair of tights. They are the most easiest shoes to style, although I will probably still wear my white converse now and then.
I love...Coffee, Coffee & More Coffee!
Coffee is just my obsession. I do love Summer as you can have iced coffee which is my favourite thing but there's something special about just wrapping yourself up in your fluffy blanket and drinking a nice hot cup of coffee on a cold evening. Nothing can really beat that.
Do you also love Autumn or are you sad that Summer has gone?

I've never really used a setting spray before as my make-up doesn't really melt but when I saw this product on Feel Unique.com and saw "oil control", I was intrigued. I decided to buy the travel size instead of the original size as I wanted to trial the product. I didn't really go with what it says on the box which states "spray it like an X then a T shape" instead I found that spraying after I put moisturiser and make-up on, using the X shape worked out a lot better. This product impressed me! Didn't need to touch up during the day but was a tad oily at the end.
This sprays out a fine mist but it does take a while to dry. Once it's dried, you won't be able to feel it; it is really lightweight. There are no breakouts, no scent and irritation. If you spray this over a matte look, your make-up will not have the cakey look anymore. I did read somewhere that if you spray it on a brush first then sweeping it over the face before and after make-up is the best method. I will have to test that out. I would most definitely repurchase this in the full size product.
Have you tried this product or any other setting sprays?

I had been wanting to give this a try for so long but always put myself off from buying it and I don't know why. But when I was making an order on Feel Unique.com I came across it on those "we suggest" pages and I just clicked into my basket now. I have tried it for a couple of times now and I got to say that I can see what the hype is all about. As instructed I applied one thick coat over my coloured polish and was astounded by the high shine finish on my nails. I couldn't stop staring at them! Once they were fully dry which didn't take so long at all, the surface of the nail feels incredibly smooth. I was excited to see how they would look the second day as they do tend to chip easily by then, but again incredibly they never did for about 3-4 days. I am very impressed with this purchase and have recommended it to friends who loves their nails as much as I do. It's perfect for when I am at work when I want my nails looking really nice. I will be sad when I run out of this but then I will most likely just order it again!
Have you tried this yourself?

On Tuesday night I saw that Feel Unique had a sale. I soon went on there and spent let's say over £30 on some goodies that I have wanted to try for ages and just felt like treating myself. I got the box this morning and here I am showing you what I did get. The sale is still on, I'm not sure how long for but you can now get an extra 10& off by using the code SALEBONUS10.
Zoella Soak Opera Bath & Soap Cream - I pretty much saw Zoella aka Zoe Sugg big Youtube Beauty/Vlogger's beauty range plenty of times in Superdrug and online but just never really thought of trying them, that was until I saw many reviews on blogs. I do love my bubble baths and fragrance shower gels so I just had to get this.
Zoella Fizz Bar - I'm pretty much cheating on Lush Cosmetics a bit here as I did buy a bath fizzer. I particularly liked the design on the packaging. I really cannot wait to give this a try and I'm sure I can use it many times I want to as it's quite large.
Bioderma Sensibio H20 Make-Up Removing Micelle Solution 100ml - I know I am a bit late on the beauty wagon with this next product. I have been wanting to see what all the fuss was about with this make-up remover for a long time. I'm currently using one similar which is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water which is fairly cheaper to buy, but I have wanted to try this French pharmacy gem more. I'll soon find out which is better.
Topshop 5 Years Of Beauty Lips - I decided to pick up a Topshop lipstick randomly after seeing it was part of their 5 years anniversary collection. I went for a dark colour in Beguiled. I love a vampy shade especially for Autumn so I cannot wait to wear it. Also the packaging is rose gold, how can you not love it.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat - If you are like me someone who loves painting their nails but hate waiting for them to dry, then you must get your hands on this. I remember buying this many months ago but just never re-purchased it until Tuesday night. It really does do what it says. It makes your nails shine and makes them last such a long time. Get it while it is in the sale!
Urban Decay Make-Up Setting Spray 30ml - Another product I have been dying to try is Urban Decays setting spray for make-up. The amount of times I have gone out on date nights or night outs with my friends and my make-up just doesn't last at all. This will come in good handy for when I am going out with make-up on that I want to last through the day.
Let me know if you have tried any of these products as I would love to hear your thoughts!

I saw some of these posts floating around and I thought I would give it a go, as I have failed on a few beauty related things. You could also relate to any of these or you could just laugh. So really this is just a fun post. If you are wondering what the products are that are in the picture then click on the links below.
Pug Make-Up Bag - Catseye London // Real Technique Make Up Brushes - Boots // W7 In The Nude Palette - Amazon // Collection Concealer - Boots //Revlon Colorburst Lipstick - Boots // Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation - Boots // Shiseido Eyelash Curler - Boots //Topshop Cream Blush - Topshop // Rimmel Powder - Superdrug // Soap & Glory Eyeliner - Boots
1. Starting with brows and I have never touched them myself. When I say that I mean I have never tweezed them, waxed them and shaped them myself. My mum always used to pluck them for me as I was always scared of messing them up and she does do a good job. But sometime last year I decided to get some professional help, so now I get them threaded which sounded painful at first for me but boy, they do a good job.
2. I've never liked false eye lashes. Because well I can't apply them. I just can't. I've only ever tried applying them once and they just looked a mess. Now I just stick to eye lash curlers and mascara, pretty much my friends think I'm wearing individual lashes some days because my lashes look so long!
3. Contouring, well I can't do that either. I know when you buy some contour kits you get a book explaining how to do it but I still can't quite figure it out. If you can contour then I applaud you and you should come over and teach me.
4. I constantly forget to clean my make-up brushes. I used to clean them at least once a week but because I work constantly it always seems to run away out of my mind. But now I'm trying to make note to myself to clean them as often as I can. So, their not always dirty.
5. I apply more concealer on my face than foundation. I have the worst bags under my eyes and I have horrible redness around my nose so I tend to apply so much concealer around those areas than foundation. My foundation doesn't give much coverage as I have never liked foundations which make your face look so matte. So I always try and cover as much as I can with concealer.
6. I don't wear enough lip balm. I know that if you're going to wear lipstick for the day you apply lip balm before the lipstick so it keeps it moisturised and lasts longer, but I never do it. I love my lipsticks and the amount of times my lips have gone chapped from wearing them for a whole day is pretty gross.
If you related to any of these then please let me know so I am not alone.
thank you for reading!♥

As I expected the eye shadows are nice and pigmented. I mean not beautifully buttery like the Naked palettes, but it's enough so it's enjoyable to apply and easy of course. I always used an eye shadow primer before applying eye shadow and I've noticed that it makes the colours in the palette look so vibrant and last so much longer. There are shades that I will probably use mostly for an everyday look but I cannot wait to adventure into the darker shades for a dramatic/evening appropriate look.
This palette is SUCH good value for money(It was around £4 in B&M Bargains.) Even more so if you are comparing it between this and the Naked palettes! The eye shadows do get the job done nicely but they just lack that butteriness that the Naked palettes offer you.
Have you got this palette?
