So yesterday I popped into town mainly to get another four disney tsum tsums, but then Lush happened. I heard Lush had new products in so I had to pop in and have a look. But looking turned into buying and here is a haul of what I bought.

Skydancer Far From The Madding Guns - Bath Bomb : Starting with a new bath bomb and it's one that is rather important. Profits from each and every one of these help fund equipment to satellite, tag endangered hen harrier chicks born in the coming years. I didn't know about this until I spoke to a girl that worked in the Lush store about it. They're only limited edition so if you could get your hands on one easily then please do because it will help protect the UK's precious and highly endangered hen harries. It also smells amazing!

Fizzbanger - Bath Bomb : Normally when I do go into Lush I tend to pick up a random bath bomb that I haven't tried yet, but I decided to get this Fizzbanger as it apparently has popping candy in it. It smells absolutely gorgeous, I really cannot wait to use this one.

Frozen - Bath Bomb'Let it go, let it gooooooo, you can't hold me back any mooooore!' Do I really have to explain why I picked up this bath bomb? It's called Frozen for god sake. The name plays the part when it comes to the design - a pale, pearly-blue shell decorated with a darker blue waist band. Exactly how you would imagine a Frozen-inspired bath bomb to look like.

Creamy Candy - Bubble Bar : This is from the original range, so you can purchase this in any Lush store/online. It always reminds me of the Snow Fairy shower gel that you get in the Christmas range and the Magic Wand also in the range. It has a very soft floral smell which feels very girly and creates lovely bubbles, so I always tend to repurchase this one.

Pink Flamingo - Bubble Bar : Again another new product which is a bubble bar! I was so attracted to this because it's a flamingo shaped and a glowing neon pink. I was so worried when picking one up as the stick is very flimsy so I'm worried in case it falls off completely when I do use it as I want to get as much as I can out of it.

Think Pink - Ballistic : This is one of my most used bath bombs, I absolutely love it. It works better than most of the bigger ballistics. The smell isn't too over powering it it contains vanilla and tonka. I like to use this as an evening bath as it contains lavender oil which helps you feel calm and soothes you.

The Experimenter - Bath Bomb : Another new bath bomb and this one really did catch my eye. I love the vibrant colours and it is so glittery! I honestly cannot wait to see what this does in my bath as it is just incredibly made.

What do you think of Lush's new products?

I saw some of these posts floating around and I thought I would give it a go, as I have failed on a few beauty related things. You could also relate to any of these or you could just laugh. So really this is just a fun post. If you are wondering what the products are that are in the picture then click on the links below.
Pug Make-Up Bag - Catseye London // Real Technique Make Up Brushes - Boots // W7 In The Nude Palette - Amazon // Collection Concealer - Boots //Revlon Colorburst Lipstick - Boots // Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation - Boots // Shiseido Eyelash Curler - Boots //Topshop Cream Blush - Topshop // Rimmel Powder - Superdrug // Soap & Glory Eyeliner - Boots

1. Starting with brows and I have never touched them myself. When I say that I mean I have never tweezed them, waxed them and shaped them myself. My mum always used to pluck them for me as I was always scared of messing them up and she does do a good job. But sometime last year I decided to get some professional help, so now I get them threaded which sounded painful at first for me but boy, they do a good job.

2. I've never liked false eye lashes. Because well I can't apply them. I just can't. I've only ever tried applying them once and they just looked a mess. Now I just stick to eye lash curlers and mascara, pretty much my friends think I'm wearing individual lashes some days because my lashes look so long!

3. Contouring, well I can't do that either. I know when you buy some contour kits you get a book explaining how to do it but I still can't quite figure it out. If you can contour then I applaud you and you should come over and teach me.

4. I constantly forget to clean my make-up brushes. I used to clean them at least once a week but because I work constantly it always seems to run away out of my mind. But now I'm trying to make note to myself to clean them as often as I can. So, their not always dirty.

5. I apply more concealer on my face than foundation. I have the worst bags under my eyes and I have horrible redness around my nose so I tend to apply so much concealer around those areas than foundation. My foundation doesn't give much coverage as I have never liked foundations which make your face look so matte. So I always try and cover as much as I can with concealer.

6. I don't wear enough lip balm. I know that if you're going to wear lipstick for the day you apply lip balm before the lipstick so it keeps it moisturised and lasts longer, but I never do it. I love my lipsticks and the amount of times my lips have gone chapped from wearing them for a whole day is pretty gross.

If you related to any of these then please let me know so I am not alone.

Tassel Tie Front Cami - New Look // Tassel Hem Wrap - New Look // Floppy Hat - Topshop // Graphic Pouch - Forever 21 // Make The Boys Cry Tee - Topshop // Compact Mirror - Forever 21 // Grey Ripped Skinny Jeans - New Look // Stone Cuff - Forever 21 //
Payday is tomorrow and It's that time when I made a wishlist for the month. I have been loving tassel tie front cami's, I have seen them everywhere and New Look have a few different ones in their sale so if you are looking into purchasing one then the sale is the place to go! Many years ago I had a hem wrap and it was the best thing I ever had in my wardrobe. Now, I really want one again for this Autumn/Winter and this one from New Look especially the print. Recently I tried on a few floppy hats in a few shops and I was told that they really suited me which I found hard to believe until a few other people told me. So now I really want one to style this Autumn. Forever 21 always have some lovely accessories especially make up bags and bag essentials including this pouch which I adore. Also this compact mirror which is always a handbag essential and I mainly use mine to apply my lipstick so this one seems acceptable to have. I have seen many of these tees around the blog world and as soon as I saw this one on the Topshop website I had to add it to my list. I always adore New Look jeans, they never seem so sag or baggy so all my jeans are from New Look. Now I am looking into buying this pair which are grey and have those ripped knees. Lastly back to accessories from Forever 21, I love their jewellery so much. So affordable and last a long time. I was never one for bracelets but now I can see how much they help style a plain outfit, so this stone cuff is the top of my list.

What do you think of my payday wishlist for this month?

A couple of days a go I went on a small shopping spree and I came across this palette in the beauty aisle in a retail store. I had seen these around before but just never thought to buy it, until that day. The first thing I thought was "what a dupe of the Naked 3 palette!" and then I just loved the colours instantly. I have wanted the Naked palettes for a long time now but I really wanted to find dupes so I didn't have to cash out the £38.00. So I took this home and gave it a little try the next day.

As I expected the eye shadows are nice and pigmented. I mean not beautifully buttery like the Naked palettes, but it's enough so it's enjoyable to apply and easy of course. I always used an eye shadow primer before applying eye shadow and I've noticed that it makes the colours in the palette look so vibrant and last so much longer. There are shades that I will probably use mostly for an everyday look but I cannot wait to adventure into the darker shades for a dramatic/evening appropriate look.

This palette is SUCH good value for money(It was around £4 in B&M Bargains.) Even more so if you are comparing it between this and the Naked palettes! The eye shadows do get the job done nicely but they just lack that butteriness that the Naked palettes offer you.

Have you got this palette?

Yesterday I decided to go to the Merry Hill shopping centre mainly to get some more Tsums Tsums from the Disney store. If you haven't heard of them then where have you been? But after I got them I decided to take a trip into The Body Shop as I recently joined their loyalty card as you get 10% off your purchase which is pretty good for me as I love The Body Shop way too much. But I also had a voucher to spend to get £10 off when I pick up items that are worth £25, so I did that and well you know what happens next. I came out with some purchases that were recommended to me by a helpful girl that works at the Merry Hill store. Let's get onto what I bought!

Mango Body Sorbet - Firstly I went straight to the mango range which caught my eye first, I picked up the Body Sorbet first. I had heard of these body sorbets before but just never thought to give them a try but the scent just changed my mind. They are essentially a moisturiser, but are lighter meaning they sink in quick and don't leave you with that sticky clammy feeling you sometimes get after using moisturiser. The smell reminds me of solero ice lollies, so you can go around smelling like them all day. I used it last night and the texture is so strange, it's like an actual sorbet. It's hard to describe but It feels like your slathering ice cream all over your body. But it's not sticky and it's actually doing something for your skin. Of course this is only for the summer and those heated days/nights as it's an alternative to after sun because it contains 100% organic Aloe Vera. The girl in the store recommended that I put it in the fridge for an even cooler treat.

Mango Body Mist - Still on the mango range, I then picked up their Body Mist which smelt AMAZING. I like it because it isn't so overpowering meaning that you can quickly top up throughout the day if need be. It is packaged nicely, could be a problem if I wanted to put it in my bag and carry it around as it is glass. I feel like I could use this for work as I don't like wearing an expensive perfume all the time. I will definitely give the other scents a try.

Virgin Mojito Shower Gel - Yes you heard it, a shower gel this is that famous cocktail that you have on a night out occasionally. I used this last night and something magically happened when the mint combined with the lime aroma with warm water - It comes to life and of course cleanses the skin without being harsh or stripping. Before I bought this the girl in the store recommended squirting a little under running water and enjoy the minty bubbles in the comfort of your bath tub, that sounded bliss to me. If you have tried anything from the Virgin Mojito range then do let me know as I would like to try the other products.

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion - I mainly bought this lotion to treat my blemishes and spots that have appeared around my chin these few days now. I used it last night and already a few of the spots have died down a bit. It's a lightweight lotion that provides light hydration while helping your skin get clearer. It does make your skin clearer by healing those blemishes, but it does not dry out on your skin. I will see how it does with my current spots/blemishes and then I will do a full review on it.

Rainforest Volume Conditioner - This was a random purchase as I had to try and get to the £25 mark but I did want to switch from my expensive conditioner. I used this last night and it is way better than my other conditioner. My hair felt so full of life and looked so shiny this morning. The only downside is that it's only a small bottle so I just know that this won't be lasting for a long time as I wash my hair daily but I think I may leave this in my travel essentials for the future.

wedding outfit ideas

From L-R
A Line Dress - ASOS //Floral Dress - River Island ASOS // Floral Mini Dress - Chi Chi London ASOS // Kimono Midi Dress - Oasis // Long Sleeve Dress - Motel Rocks // Cropped Jumpsuit - River Island
In September I will be attending my friends wedding and because I rarely go to many weddings I looked in my wardrobe recently and I can't seem to find anything that would be acceptable for the day. So I have turned to online shopping and I have found some outfits that could help me with this problem. Firstly I turned to ASOS as they always have some lovely pieces on their website. Starting with this ASOS branded dress which I thought was very formal and something I could wear again after the wedding. It has a lovely touch of lace on the waist and a high neck which I do like. I had something floral and colourful in mind so finding this one from ASOS again but branded by River Island ticked all the boxes. Skater dresses are so easy to style and can be very flattering. The pattern is elegant and I'm only recently just starting to adore the colour yellow. I had never liked wearing yellow as it makes me look more pale skinned but I think I could deal with that as this dress is too pretty! Chi Chi London do some amazingly pretty dresses, I could just have them all in my wardrobe but sadly the prices are off putting to me. So I'm just adding this one to my wishlist because I think it is too pretty to not say no to. Bardot necks always remind me of Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn style which is elegant and would look gorgeous for a wedding day. I could imagine just buying this dress to just twirl around my bedroom in.
I have always loved Oasis for their floral girly styles so I went straight onto their website. I came across this kimono style dress with a gorgeous exotic print. I especially love the neck as it's embellished so you wouldn't have to spend money on a chunky necklace to wear. Motel Rocks do have some lovely pieces underneath all their dark and grudge style outfits. I love lace especially this daisy style, it reminds me so much of the 50s/60s time. Lastly is a jumpsuit from River Island. Wide cropped trousers have always been off putting as I don't think they would suit my body shape but I love the style of this. I could imagine wearing it again for future events.
Now all I need to do is decide which is best for this wedding, if you have an idea which one would be acceptable then please let me know. I trust your opinions.

Unfortunately we live in a world where the word 'Cancer' is used far too often and somebody is diagnosed with Cancer in the UK every two minutes. My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer last march, she survived but there are many other people in the world that do not survive. After those many months I really wanted to do something to help those other families out there that were going through what I was going through with my family. I heard had a lot about the race for life but just never thought to do it, until one day I found out they had an event in my area. I contacted my best friend and we both signed up together.
On the morning of the run I felt so nervous but excited at the same time knowing that I was taking part for so many people out there in the world. But also that I had raised £145 from my sponsors. As soon as we got to Cofton Park the atmosphere was amazing and the determination from all the women showed how inspiring they all were on the day. I was joined by my mum and my boyfriend to support me and my friend. Before we took place at the starting line they did a small zumba class to get all us energized which was needed as this was at 8am in the morning (#notamorningperson). The zumba class really pumped me up and soon enough we were at the starting line.
Me and my friend finished the race in 1 hour and 30 minutes, the atmosphere when you run through that finish line is just so emotional. My mum was there waiting for me along with my boyfriend and a special surprise from my 5 year old cousin who just beamed with excitement as she watched me.

Cancer Research UK hold Race For Life events all over the country to raise money to research into all 200 types of cancer. You don't even have to run if you don't want to, you can walk, skip, hop, crawl or roll down the hill like most people did which looked more fun. All donations made will help fund the life saving work carried out by Cancer Research UK. There is currently a 50% chance people diagnosed with breast cancer will recover, if me taking out an hour on a Saturday morning increases that chance by even 1% then I have done a tiny little something.

Have you taken part in any Race For Life Events?

Do you ever wake up in the morning and the first thing that you do is check Instagram?...because I do exactly that almost every morning. I follow many accounts on Instagram but I do have my favourites so just narrowing it down to just 5 was pretty hard!

gh0stparties - First is Kate who's Instagram always has me craving for food, beauty and cats. She is easily my favourite beauty based account as she always has her make up looking gorgeous. She also travels quite a bit so you can always find Paris, Barcelona and just those places us girls wish we were. If you love cats then you will love her cat Mouse who is the cutest thing I have ever seen.

fromrosesxo - Onto Rebecca who already has a blog that I adore but her Instagram is an account I will always be a nosey parker on as it just lovely. Her taste in decor and fashion is perfect, I am forever wishing she would come to me and just fix up my decor and wardrobe.

heidilouisedavies - Do I really have to explain why I love this account? HELLO PUGS! *heart eyes emoji*. I follow many pug accounts but this one is my favourite out of them all. Heidi's pugs are literally the cutest things. And it isn't just the pugs that I love, her home looks just like how I would imagine my home to be like in the future. But if you love pugs then you should follow her.
little_magpie1 - Fashion wise I love Amy's account as her outfits are to die for. She is possibly my favourite fashion-based account, I wish her wardrobe was mine. She also has a mix of her travels and beauty. I love how her photos are edited, she needs to give me tips. I could scroll for hours. She is literally a goddess from the photos she posts especially the close ups of her face as she always looks perfection.

milkbubbleteablog - Lastly is Becky's Instagram which is a very cute account. Her little pooch is so adorable, her decor is to die for and her lifestyle. Her blog is also something I follow on a daily basis because it's so bloomin' good. She always posts really nice food aswell like cupcakes which I just crave after looking at them.

Do you have any Instagram favourites?

Now that we are in June and Summer is now upon us I have decided to do a list of aims and goals for the month. If you don't know already next month on July 18th I will be taking part in the Race For Life with my friend Victoria. So some of my aims are to get pumped up for that and some are to do daily. If you are interested in donating to help us with our fundraising you can visit this page (here). Little donation or a big one would mean a lot to me. All donations go to Cancer Research UK.

  • Yoga/Long Walks - I used to do Yoga many years ago and it slowly got put to one side as I started working and could say I got slightly lazy...no that is the reason actually. I hardly ever go for long walks, I mostly get a lift to work or catch buses/trains to places. Seeing as the 10k race that I am taking part in involves walking/running I would need to be fit and ready to be walking so much. So my aim is to do Yoga at least 3 days a week and go for a walk maybe in the morning or afternoon to work or else where.
  • Drink More Water/Make More Smoothies - Drinking wise I am never the best when it comes to drinking water. The drink I mostly have everday is lemonade and some days I have noticed how bloated I feel once it comes to eating a meal to the point where I can't even eat most of my meal because I feel full already. It also hasn't helped my skin as I have experienced more blemishes around my chin. So I am going to stay off lemonade and stick to having water. I also have a smoothie maker that I have not used for a long time so I want to try and make my own smoothies or follow recipes of what others have done.
  • Visit Somewhere I Have Never Been Before - Recently I have enjoyed going out of Birmingham and visiting my boyfriend who is currently in Stoke. I had never been to Stoke before so visiting him and going to new places for him also has been exciting. But now my next place on my list is Brighton. I have been wanting to travel to Brighton for a quite a while now and I think this could be a new trip for me soon. If you know any good places to go to in Brighton please feel free to tweet me or leave a comment below on this post.
  • Take More Photos On Instagram - My instagram page has become abandoned recently, I used to adore taking photos on my instagram as I liked the idea of sharing memories or just small things with my followers, you guys I guess if you do follow me on there. But now I just want to start taking photos again even if it is just a small thing or something memorable that I do want to share.
Do you have any goals set for this month?

Blue Check  Dress - River Island //  Romper - Topshop -  // Pencil Skirt - New Look // Boyfriend Jeans - Topshop // Handbag - Fossil // Plastic Sunglasses - H&M
Payday is just around the corner so here I am today with a new payday wishlist. Starting off with a pair of black dungarees, I stated on Twitter earlier today that I don't know whether to have a pair because they just go in and out of fashion every single year! But as soon as I saw this pair on Topshop i'm starting to rethink it all and now I want to give them a try. A beauty product next and now that I have said that I want to try at least everything from Lush besides their bath products, I come across their shampoo bars. I've heard good and bad things said about them but I did have a smell of this when I was in Lush a while back and it really made me wish I'd of bought it to give it a try. If you are wondering what it smells like, it smells like Rose Jam (love heart emojis). I have been seeing these button front pencil skirts for a while now and it's been a long search to find the perfect one. Until I found this one from New Look in a tan colour which is something I would never normally want but I could imagine styling this with a few of my Summer items.
I am so happy that check is coming back this Summer, so easy to style and you can still look chic especially in this check dress from River Island. Next are some boyfriend jeans from Topshop, I am loving my ripped jeans from New Look but I think I do need a pair of boyfriend jeans for the Summer which are ripped aswell. I have been slightly obsessed with Fossil at the moment and I just want all their handbags in their collection. But this Sydney Satchel one needs to be added to my collection of handbags. Polka dots and camel are perfect for Summer. Lastly are some sunglasses from H&M which are the mint/white frames, always love H&Ms sunglasses so will most likely be picking up this pair.
